sitemap.module (version 1.0)

sitemap.module is an XML utility to generate website site maps in XML, suitable for web site management at Google & Yahoo sitemaps. It can also generate text-based sitemaps.

For information about Google site-maps, visit Google sitemaps. For information about Google site-maps, visit Yahoo site explorer. In brief, Google & Yahoo sitemaps help webmasters to manage their sites and to specify which sections of their websites are most important to search engines.

Start directory:	This is the physical directory corresponding to the highest level at which you wish to start the sitemap.
Start URL:	This is the URL corresponding to the highest level at which you wish to start the sitemap. Typicall this will be you website's main address.
Default change frequency:	The default change frequency will be applied to each file by default; you may then want to change some values by hand afterwards. The value 'auto' is special; this will work out a change frequency for each file based on the last modified date. This change frequency is used by Google & Yahoo's web spiders to determine which pages need more frequent visits.
Default priority:	The default priority will be applied to all files equally; may wish to change some values by hand afterwards. Acceptable values are 0.0 to 1.0. The priorities are relative between your web pages, so use them to indicate those files which are most important to have indexed (higher values) and those which are of lesser importance (lower values).
Select target: For xml: For text:	At the time of writing, Google & Yahoo make use of an XML Sitemap using all the above features, but can also make use of a simple text file.
Use exclude list:	To use an exclusory file list, check this value. When it is not checked, the search is limited to HTML, SHTML, PHP, JSP and ASP files. When it is checked, the search will include all files except those specifically excluded in the "exclude file list" below.
Exclude file list:	This is a comma-separated list of files to be excluded. Each entry is a Perl regular expression representing a file or files to be excluded.
